A working idea to one of the Intergalactic Grandads, Derick. Fat ole' Derick carries his trusty Laser Shooter with him at all times, he doesn't want to have to ask for a seat on the Fast Bus to Space Town!

So, sometimes I get frustrated trying to draw. I usually plant the drawing by doing a rough skeletal version first, but it never works out right. With this one, I just drew it. No planning. I just dove straight in and drew all the lines, details, and shape in one go. And it looks great, I think! Sometimes, one just overthinks things, and you just need to let go and just do it!

Roll - New Style

Mega Man's 'sister' Roll. In the classic series and all other media, Roll was built as a robot after Mega Man, but in my retelling, she will be a human.

Bottom Inspirational Poster

A tribute and tip 'o the hat to Bottom, possibly my favourite British sitcom.

The scene where Dick the Barman realises that the lads are using fake money, and change their names to Deirdre Barlow.

Infinity Mijinion

Possibly my favourite Maverick from Mega Man X 6, Infinity Mijinion is actually based on a water flea. His abilities in the game consist mainly of lasers and cloning himself. The battle itself would get extremely frustrating because there were SO many copies of himself, I feel he would make a great TV show villain!

Spark Man - New Style

Spark Man, from Mega Man 3, this guy can generate twice as much voltage as Elec Man could, and his Spark Shock can paralyse anything else electrical.

Bass - New Style

Mega Man's secondary arch-nemisis, Bass. He is built around a negative inversion power source, created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily.
His first appearance is in Mega Man 7, and he has stayed as a main character since.

Dust Man - New Style

In the same style as my new Mega Man, here is my favourite Robot Master from Mega Man 4, Dust Man. Essentially, he sucked and blowed. But, I feel he deserved more attention to detail.

I drew this once I watched 'The Secret of Kells', a cute animated movie inspired by Celtic Mythology. It's style matches that used by modern Hanna-Barbera cartoons such as Johnny Bravo and The Powerpuff Girls, and I wondered how my favourite video game character would look in this style. Yay Mega Man!
